Before your treatment, our endodontist will take a complete set of X-rays to plan your treatment. We will begin by administering a local anesthetic to ensure your comfort. A dental dam or similar device will be placed to keep your teeth free from saliva and other debris during the treatment. An opening will be created on the surface of your tooth, and our endodontist will remove the pulp.

After removal of dental pulp, your tooth will be shaped and thoroughly cleaned. We will pack gutta-percha filling material into the tooth to seal out further infection, and the cement will be applied to seal the root canals completely. Finally, we will place a temporary filling to restore the function of your tooth. Our endodontist will provide you with post-operative instructions and any medical prescriptions which you may need.
